The Society for Underwater Technology (SUT) is a multidisciplinary learned society that brings together organisations and individuals with a common interest in underwater technology, ocean science and offshore engineering.
SUT was founded in 1966 and has members from more than 40 countries, including engineers, scientists, other professionals and students working in these areas.
The Hydrographic Society UK is an independent, non-profit making, non-governmental, learned professional society. We provide a forum for all those involved in activities related to hydrography and associated disciplines, both in the UK and the overseas. The Hydrographic Society UK encompasses a wide range of specialisms and activities. Our Individual and Corporate Members operate in many sectors including surveying for nautical charting, offshore resources, construction, engineering, renewable energy, environmental monitoring, oceanography, geology and the manufacture and supply of related products.
